Lisa is a research biologist at the University of Michigan. She has planted a native flower gardens in her side and back yard, maintains beds of flowers that attract butterflies, and grows staked milkweed in a strip against the back wall of her house. Lisa uses her milkweed to feed the many monarchs that she raises and tags every year. Last year she raised over 30 monarchs! Her yard is a certified Monarch Waystation (click on the link below).
